Is there a camp store?
There is a fully stocked camp store at all Rhino Lacrosse Academies. The store will include clothing such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, hats, stickers, snacks, etc…Our overnight camp will also have a camp store that stays open into the evening. Snacks and beverages will be available and every camper will have the opportunity to purchase pizzas to enjoy with fellow campers at night.
What will the supervision be like at camp?
At Rhino Lacrosse, we take security and safety very seriously. Campers will be supervised at all times. We pride ourselves on having a 12:1 campers:staff ratio and attendance is taken before and after each session throughout the day.
Are your coaches background checked?
Yes! Every coach is background checked before being hired.
What are the rules at Rhino Lacrosse Academy?
It is strictly forbidden to possess drugs, alcohol, tobacco or firearms while at any Rhino Lacrosse event. Possession of any of these constitutes grounds for immediate dismissal from camp at the campers expense with no refund. We do not allow campers to leave camp grounds unless the camp director has your parent’s explicit permission . We also do not tolerate any vandalism or destruction of property. If a camper is found breaking any of these rules, they will be asked to leave immediately. We want Rhino Lacrosse camps to be as safe and as fun as possible and these rules must be enforced in order to do so.
If there is an injury or an emergency, what will happen?
At all Rhino Lacrosse Academies we have an on-field certified athletic trainer who will be there throughout the duration of the day to handle any emergencies and will be available to campers at all times. Trainers will also be available at check in if you have any questions or need help regarding your campers medical concerns.
Can my child still take his prescribed medicine while at camp?
Yes, your child can still take his medication at the same times and schedule that he does at home while at lacrosse camp. If your child is on any medication, either over the counter or prescribed, you will have the opportunity during check-in to inform our trainers. Will I be able to contact my child while he/she is at camp?
Cell phones are permitted at Rhino Lacrosse Camps. There should be no problem contacting your son while at camp.
Are parent’s allowed to visit and watch while camp is in session?
Yes, parents are allowed and encouraged to come and watch their children play.
What if there is bad weather, what happens?
In the event of inclement weather, Rhino Lacrosse will make every effort to continue the scheduled program at the discretion of the event director. If extreme weather occurs, such as lightening, extreme heat, hail, etc., Rhino Lacrosse may be forced to cancel the scheduled program in order to protect player participants and staff. If an event is canceled due to weather, a notice will be posted on our website’s bulletin board and an email will be sent out to you. We encourage parents to make arrangements for the pick up of their children, if the weather suddenly turns or if lightning, tornado or severe weather warnings are issued. There will be no partial refunds or refunds due to unforeseeable weather circumstances.
What if I don’t have any equipment? Will there be some available at camp?
Rhino Lacrosse does not provide lacrosse equipment, however we wouldn’t want that situation from stopping a camper from participating. If you are in need of equipment please contact info@rhinolacrosse.com and we will try our best to accommodate your needs.
There is no Rhino Lacrosse Academy in my area, what can I do?

Is there position specific coaching at Rhino Lacrosse Academies?
At Rhino Lacrosse Academies we are proud to offer coaching and training specific to every position in lacrosse.
Do I have to be at a particular level to participate at Rhino Lacrosse Academy?
We have a great deal of confidence in our staff to work with players of every ability level. Our coaches take pride in developing every skill level of lacrosse player.
Are there group discounts available?
We welcome any team or group of 7 or more that wants to participate in a Rhino Lacrosse event. Please email info@rhinolacrosse.com with your plans and we will work with you to create a package price. Family discounts are also often available for families with two or more children attending a specific event.
How do I know if an Academy or event is full? Is there a wait list?
If a Rhino Lacrosse Summer Academy or Rhino event is full, we will have it clearly marked on our website. Wait list options will be available.
What is the Rhino Lacrosse cancellation policy?
Cancellation Policy without Cancellation Insurance:
If for any reason you have to cancel your registration, you will be issued a credit for all fees paid to the event, less the online registration processing fee ($10); if you cancel before 10 days of the scheduled event. This credit will be valid for any Rhino Lacrosse event for one year from the date the registration was made and is transferable to another immediate family member. If you cancel within 10 days of the event, no credit or refunds will be issued. No exceptions.
Cash refunds will only be issued if Rhino Lacrosse Cancellation Insurance has been purchased.
Cancellation Policy with Cancellation Insurance:
Cancellation Insurance is available to be purchased at the time of your registration for identified programs. This insurance guarantees you full cash reimbursement of all fees paid upon registration, less the online registration processing fee($10), if you cancel before 10 days of the event for which you registered. If you have to cancel within 10 days of the event you will receive a 50% credit to a future Rhino Lacrosse event, valid for one year from the date the registration was made. Rhino Lacrosse Cancellation Insurance fee is non-refundable.
Once the program for which you are registered has begun, no refund or credits will be issued. Pro-rated cash refunds or credits will not be provided.
Inclement Weather Policy:
In the event of inclement weather, Rhino Lacrosse will make every effort to continue the scheduled program at the discretion of the event director. If extreme weather occurs, such as lightening, extreme heat, hail, etc., Rhino Lacrosse may be forced to cancel the scheduled program in order to protect player participants and staff. Cancelled Program Policy:
Rhino Lacrosse reserves the right to cancel an event for any reason. If there is low enrollment or a facility change and we are forced to cancel the event, you will be refunded all monies paid to Rhino Lacrosse.
