So you are living the dream, play lax at Syracuse, how does it feel to be the BMOC?
Playing lacrosse at Cuse has been my dream since I first picked up a stick and to be able to put on a Syracuse jersey everyday is a dream come true. There is so much tradition at Syracuse and to be a part of it means a lot to me.
National Championship, describe it for us….repeat?
Winning the national championship last year was the best day of my life. To be able to beat our biggest rival Hopkins in front of 50,000 people was unreal. Winning it all made all the hard work over the years really pay off and to be able to rock a big ring on my finger feels pretty good too.
You have played with a lot of dudes, who is your favorite to play with?
Ive definitely played with some great players over the years. I would have to say that Mike Leveille has been my favorite player to play with, we have a great chemistry on the field and complement each other really well. Casey Powell, Brett Bucktooth, Matt Abbott, and Sid Smith have definitely been great to play with as well.
Where you see yourself in 10 years?
In 10 years I hope to have a good job and possibly settled down with a family
What do you think of our new site?
The new site looks great! If i was a young lacrosse player I would absolutely check it out all the time and learn from it.
My biggest lacrosse mentor is…
Casey Powell. Casey has been so good to me over the years and really helped me out a lot on and off the field. Hes been my hero in lacrosse for as long as I can remember.
You are a little new to Rhino Lacrosse, what do you think about what Ryan is doing out west?
I think Ryan is doing a great job of taking what he knows about lacrosse and spreading it to the west coast. Kids out west are very lucky to be learning from one of the best players to ever play the game.
In my free time I…Take on all challengers in NHL 09. Still haven’t found anyone who’s on my level
I see lacrosse helping me in….Getting a great education and getting a job after school
