Brett Queener Joins Rhino Lacrosse Academy in West Linn!

Goalies and local players are in for a treat this June when pro goalie Brett Queener comes to Oregon for the 2010 Rhino Lacrosse Academy in West Linn June 21st- 24th. The Toronto National’s goalie joins the best positional staff Rhino Lacrosse has assembled to date. Goalies should prepare themselves for great coaching and hands on instruction from positioning to cage play. All star players already on staff include Ryan Powell, Casey Powell, Colin Doyle, Ben Gaebel, Kristen Kjellman and many more!
You may have seen Brett’s videos on Inside Lacrosse, Youtube or Facebook. The most viewed, being his moonwalking tribute to Michael Jackson at the 2009 MLL All-Star Game (see video below). Brett is known for this athleticism and crowd pleasing antics. It is not uncommon for Queener to be seen streaking down the field, looking for a goal or an assist after a big breathtaking save. His sticks skills, and knowledge of the game are making his name a household one, and he is revolutionizing the way a goalkeeper is viewed. He first started turning heads at the University of Albany, where it was not uncommon to see him playing offense on the man-up team. He brings youth and flavor to a well established staff.
In a phone interview with Brett, he couldn’t express in words how excited he was to come to Portland, OR for the first time, “I can’t wait to get out there to the west coast and work with the talent I hear so much about in the Portland area” Queener said.
