About Ryan Powell

Ryan Powell is a professional lacrosse player and instructor. He is the first fully endorsed Nike lacrosse athlete and has been named MVP twice for the professional outdoor lacrosse league (MLL), and is an All-Star player for the indoor lacrosse league (NLL). While a student at Syracuse University, he was a 4x All-American, Player of the Year, Attackman of the Year and helped his team win the National Championship in 2000. He helped take Syracuse University to yet another National Championship in 2004 while acting as assistant coach.
Powell has played for the MLL’s, San Francisco Dragons, Rochester Rattlers, and the Denver Outlaws, as well as NLL’s Anaheim Storm, Buffalo Bandits, Portland Lumberjax and now the Edmonton Rush. He is a member of the USA National Team in 2006 and 2010. He lives in Portland, Ore. with his wife, Lee Marie, and dogs Gracie & Mingus.
