What is your favorite lacrosse moment?

Playing for USA West and traveling to Berlin, Germany and Prague, Czech Republic to play lacrosse was an amazing experience.  Playing against lacrosse players from all over the world gave a lot of insight as to the state of lacrosse in the world and the progression it has made.  For OSU, my favorite memory was defeating the number 1 team Simon Fraser from Canada in Conference Playoffs with the crowd chanting U-S-A.

Who is your biggest lacrosse mentor?

My younger brother Tim got me playing lacrosse my senior year of high school.  He sparked my love of lacrosse and the sense of family it creates.  My high school coach Matt Augspurger was the one who taught me how the game is played and pushed me to be the best player I could be.

What comes to mind when you think of Rhino Lacrosse?

FAMILY.  HEART.  PRIDE.  HARD WORK.  DEDICATION.

What do you enjoy most about working with Rhino players?

FAMILY.  HEART.  PRIDE.  HARD WORK.  DEDICATION.

Can you tell us what you currently do with yourself and what do you spend your time doing?

I am a substitute teacher for Portland Public Schools.  I am also a Minority Youth Recreation Coordinator for a non-profit Todos Juntos.  I spend my time working with youth to become the best person in school, on the field, in society, and in life.

If you had to come up with a goal for you and your lacrosse career, what would it be?

I have always wanted to play lacrosse professionally.  One of my greatest ambitions is to diversify lacrosse so that lacrosse is not just a rich, white, suburban sport.  Lacrosse is a great positive outlet of energy that can uplift inner-city youth and relieve the stressors that life brings.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise others?

I am a life science nerd.  I live in a forest of different plants and breed Bearded Dragons.
