Awards & Honors:
High school - I went to St. Mary’s Academy and played for Holly Ziegler. We won the state championship my junior and senior years. I made first team all-state and all-league and got to be a team captain my senior year. I also played for RHINO my senior year.
College – I currently play at Ohio Wesleyan University (OWU) for Julie Duffy. I love representing Oregon all the way in Ohio when I hear them announce my name and hometown.

Q & A:
Q: What is your favorite lacrosse moment?

A: Winning two state championships was an amazing accomplishment in my highschool career. The championship game junior year was probably my favorite moment though just because it was such a close game and I didn’t comprehend that we could actually win until the final whistle blew and our fans rushed the field.

Q: Who is your biggest lacrosse mentor?

A: One of my closest friends is an amazing lacrosse player who has so much passion for the sport. I have never seen anyone commit to anything with as much dedication as she commits to lacrosse. We started playing lacrosse together and anytime I get frustrated with a running workout or upset at a teammate I try to remember why we both started playing and why we both love the sport.

Q: What comes to mind when you think Ryan Powell and Rhino Lacrosse?

A: Great opportunities for West Coast lacrosse players. Rhino truly is bringing Oregon lacrosse to a whole new level.

Q: Can you tell us what you currently do with yourself?

A: I play DIII lacrosse at OWU. I love the team and we have a great program. Coming in freshmen year I couldn’t have asked for more.

Q. If you had to come up with a goal for you and your lacrosse career, what would it be?

A:  In the past OWU has won their conference tournament multiple times. I hope to see a few more NCAC Championships won in my four years.

Q: What is the best goal that you have ever scored or ever seen?

A:  During a huge in conference game one of my teammates got a pass off-hand side quickly brought the ball across her body and hit a really cool behind the back shot. Everybody went nuts….it was sweeeet.
