Q & A:
What is your favorite lacrosse moment?
My favorite lacrosse moment came with my game sealing goal against Lakeridge my senior year. We ended their 62 game winning streak with that game. It was my first goal of the game, so it was a relief as well.
Who has been your biggest lacrosse mentor and why?
My biggest lacrosse mentor thus far has been coach Lamb. He helped to build my confidence as a dodger and consistently pushed me to play 100% every time I touched the field.
What comes to mind when you think of Ryan Powell & Rhino Lacrosse?
I see Rhino lacrosse as the new representative of Oregon as a premier lacrosse club, and I see Ryan Powell as a great way to bring more players to the game.
What do you look forward to the most about working with the Rhino players?
I look forward to helping the kids find a rhythm as they further develop an eye for the game and get more comfortable with their sticks.
Can you tell us what you currently do with yourself and what do you spend your time doing?
I am an environmental science major at the U of O, trying to manage the time I spend on school, lacrosse, and relaxation. I think an even combination of the three is the most enjoyable.
If you had to come up with a goal for you and your lacrosse career, what would it be?
My goal as a lacrosse player is to become the player that can be relied on in any offensive situation, while minimizing the mistakes I make on the field. Reliability is key in lacrosse.
If you could invite 3 people to dinner (dead or alive) who would they be?
I would invite Jon Stewart, Glenn Beck, and Heather Graham. While Jon and Glenn have at it with their opposing political views, I would focus my attention on Heather Graham (I figure political debate would be the best time to ask someone if they’d like to get some fresh air)
